Authentically Sourced
Our Alaska Sea Glass is personally sourced by the artist herself on remote beaches along the Bering Sea of Alaska. The sea glass found along these beaches are from bottles discarded over a hundred years ago by fortune seeking miners and travelers in the 1890's during the Alaska Gold Rush era. Throughout the last century, the discarded bottles and jars have been tossed and broken in the ocean's tumbling waves, storms and sand. The result today is a one-of-a-kind piece of beautiful sea glass with a gem like quality. As we like to say "something discarded turned beautiful."
